She is founder of The Center for Animal Awareness, an ever evolving range of animal-human programs to benefit inter- and inter-species communication. Bennie lives part-time in Marietta, Oklahoma and travels extensively experiencing life and adding to her experiences.
Mythology has given wings to the horse, fiddles to cats and cows can jump over the moon. Back on earth animals go about their daily routines as companions to the human race. Whether valued as friend and companion or homeless vagabond, the very brevity of their lives teach us to treasure each moment. Animals connect us with our true nature and reach a soft spot that can become a gateway to the soul. Humankind is the only species of life on the planet obsessed with finding the meaning of life, frantically searching for the "answer" to life without knowing the question, while animals live without judgment and guilt, teaching us patience and unconditional love.
In our ever changing universe, all life seems to fear extinction. The very earth trembles as mankind moves across it's face, clawing at the very depths of Mother Earth, sucking the life-force from the water and dumping waste into the very air we breath. It is in our power to protect and provide this earth and animals with the integrity that every living thing deserves. We have begun an odyssey at The Animal Institute of Holistic Health™ to provide a voice for animals based on educating humans to the vast resources available and the pathways to opening their hearts. We seek to be a bridge between pain, fear, extinction and life. We are gaining, as more humans take responsibility for the quality of life of this planet and the life it supports.
We offer clinics, classes and seminars presenting a unique approach to natural and alternative care for animals. We are dedicated to education that focuses on enhancing the way humans view and interact with animals, and help translate the voice of animals to the human heart.

| Kodi Paige Patterson 15 years, 10th grade Callisburg High School
Kodi is a barrel racer, animal lover, rodeo girl, honor student, active in 4H, FFA and high school rodeo She is creative, artistic and active in her church. Kodi was a camp counselor and horse wrangler at CrossNCrown Youth Ministries summer 2011 and considered that to be an incredible blessing. She and her 12 year old AQHA gelding, Friday, are extremely competitive in barrel racing. She retired her mare, Chili at 21, making the TJRA 2008 and 2009 finals, 2010 Grand Reserve Champion and winning the 2009 FFA barrel and pole competition. Kodi represented Gainesville Riding Club in 2008 as Queen and carried the flag at the Gainesville Rodeo. Her colt, Dash is a grandson of Miss N Cash and Bugs Alive and can't wait to start his career. She works with other horses and is planning on teaching young girls barrel racing at CrossNCrown Ranch in Marietta, Oklahoma mentoring young girls with an emphasis on a christ centered life. Kodi comes from a long line of horse lovers. Her mother loved and rode horses from the time she was three years old. She is a barrel racer and coaches Kodi. Her Grandmother is the author of this site and her Great Grandparents raised the finest Tennessee Walking Horses in Jakes Branch in Mufreesboro, Tennessee. It was rumored that her great-grandmother was the first woman to ride astride in that part of the country, wearing her husband's pants. During the Civil War, the family built an elaborate underground horse stable to hide their prize horses from both the Union and Confederate Armies. Kodi has a brother, Kace who is 9 and is also a competitor and finalist at the TJRA and has competed in Junior Steer Riding and Goat Tying. but is now using his athletic abilities in football. Kodi is a role model for other young girls who aspire to love their horses and put Christ first. Kodi also helps out here at Twin Kreek Ranch.
Kodi is a work of art in progress. She has been apprenticing with The Animal Institute since she was 2 years old and would stay with me on weekends. She has a natural sense of communication with animals and that uncanny ability to separate her emotions when working with animals that have suffered physical, mental, emotional and spiritual abuse. She has assisted several animals through serious illnesses and comforted those who were leaving for "Animal Heaven". She is patient and compassionate with all living things. I am blessed to have Kodi be a part of my work and carry on the interest. Right now she is planning to become an equine dentist, animal therapist and continue with her volunteer work. Although the school is no longer in operation, Kodi is still using all the tools she learned in her work with horses and other animals today.

Kace Patterson, 9 years old, attends Radware Elementary. Kace competed in Junior Steer Riding and started off his first season with a couple of good tries and finally a ride to the buzzer. Kace also tried his hand at goat tying and has played soccer and baseball, but now has been playing Center position for football in Callisburg where he has been nicknamed "The Bull" and seems to have found his niche.
